Memories
I was running as fast as I was trying to catch the guy who was going to shoot at the goal. When I caught up beside him I reached my foot across to get steal the ball off his feet. As I reached across with my left foot his knee hit my knee so hard that it moved my knee cap off place. I fell to the ground in pain. When I was lying on the ground my older brother rushed to see if I was okay. While I was on the ground I saw the expression on my brother’s face when he saw my knee. When I saw his face I wanted to get back up really bad to show him that I was okay and could keep playing but when I was getting up I felt like a bus had smashed my knee.
“Don’t get up” my brother said with a worried voice
He had called someone to come and check me. When the guy that was going to check on me got there he told my brother that he needed to pop the knee cap back in place before I could move. My brother asked if I was ready and in a not so sure voice I told him that I was.

First pop came and as I was screaming in pain I remembered the first time I was on the high school soccer field. I was worried because it was my first ever high school soccer game and I was the only freshman that was on the starting varsity team. I felt like all of the pressure was on me. As I walked on the field with the whole team I prayed to so my best and not let anyone down. I got the ball pasted to me I got the ball on my feet and tuck of running down the flack to try and make a goal. The other team’s defense came and slid the ball from in front of my feet. I was mad but I kept trying when I got off the field my coach congratulated me because I wasn’t giving up. Even though we lost the game by eight points I felt good because I knew I had done my best and accepted that the other team was better than us
“Are you ready for the next pop” my brother asked
I said yes still not being sure if I wanted it to pop again. It popped and as a tear escaped  from my eye I was scared of not being able to play soccer anymore. I remembered of all the times I scored and the feeling of making the goal and celebrating. I felt so good when every one that was there watching applaud to me. The first ever goal I made was in a soccer team were my dad was the coach, the team was called “Las Chivitas”. I don’t remember exactly how I made the goal but I remember that I would tell everyone that I knew that I had made the goal. When I made the goal I ran towards my mom and dad and they hugged me and told me that I did a good job.
“Your knee cap is back in place skinny” my brother said with little smile of relive on his face
He helped me up and carried me to the side line so I could sit on s bench. The guy that push my knee cap out of place came to where I was sitting and said he was sorry I told him that is wasn’t his fault and that it was alright. My brother got an ice bag so I could put it on my knee but the ice didn’t help because my knee was so swollen that it looked like a soccer ball. I could not bend my knee because it felt like someone was tearing it apart. On the entire way home I was sitting with my knee stretched out because I couldn’t bend it. When I went to the doctor and the doctor said I could not play soccer for three full months I felt really sad but happy because I could play soccer again. A month past and I was really wanting to play soccer so I did and I felt really good doing it.

Learning To Read and Write Twice

I can read and write in two different languages. The first language I learned to read and write was Spanish. I was about four or five years old when I read my first book. At that time I was living in Mexico. After school my mom would help me with my homework and made me read for a total of fifteen minutes every day. If i didn't read I could not go outside and play with my friends.
By the time I learned to read really well in Spanish I was six years old. My dad would take me to were he worked and on the way there I would try to read all the signs as we drove past them. At the same age i also learned o write. I would always carry a notebook and write thing even if it didn't make since. If I did not know how to read a word I would ask my parents and they would help me say it and told me what it meant.
Sometimes when my mom and dad were busy doing other thing and could not help me I asked me brothers for help. They always helped me with my homework. When we were finish with my homework we would go outside and kick a soccer ball around. While doing homework with them we would always clown around and they would make jokes but we always finished the homework.
Sometimes my dad would come home from work with a soccer magazine and he would read it and when he was done reading it he would give me it and I would read it. After i got done reading it he would save it in a box, and every time my brothers or I wanted to read it we would take out the magazine out of the box.
When I was eight years old my parents decided to move to the united states. I was happy but worried at the time because I did not know how to speak English. I had a hard time understanding the language. I would sometimes cry because I could not speak, understand, read or write in English. My cousin had lived in the US before I got to the US so she knew how the speak it and translate it. She was interrupted from her class a lot so she could translate what the teachers were saying to me.
At the end of the school year my parents decided to move to Marion were I learned English much faster. The teachers offered more help and tried harder to understand me. They taught me how to read and then write. When I learned to read, I read most of the Captain under pants books. Over the years I have gotten better at reading, writing, and speaking English. Every now and then i have troubles but I try to ask for help. I think this will help me in my future because I can speak read and write in two different languages.

lincoln's second inagural adress

lincoln does give a tone of righteous indignation in his speech, he explained his reasoning and his actions. one of the things he says is "both parties deprecated war; but one of them would rather make war then let the nation survive; and the other would accept war rather than let it perish''. this statement in simple word means that one party would rather destroy the government rather than to let them have it their way, and the other party would choose war rather than destroy the problem. lincoln feels that there were better ways to end the problem rather than just to start war were lots of people get killed. Another thing he said was "Both read the same bible and pray to the same God; and each invokes his aid against each other. what he is saying is that they pray to the same God and read the same bible but the pray to god the help destroy one another. He says this is a wrong thing to do because God will not help people harm people each other. Lincoln shows taghteous indignation because he tried to tell the people to do right things.

I Am poem!

I am a guy wholikes soccer
I wonder how technoogy will be in the future
I hear a loud croud cheering for me
I see a million of my fans
I want to be in the MLS

I am a guy who likes soccer

I pretend that I play proffesional soccer
I feel that the world is on my hands
I touch the moon and stars

I worry if I will be able to reach my goals
I cry at really sad thing

I am a guy who likes soccer

I understand that every time I fall I have to get back up
I say "I can make it" when something hard is in my way
I dream being able to fly
